A message from Church Warden, Annie Walsh

Dear Friends,

After what has been a inactive period for St Tecla’s Church we are now trying to get back to some form of normality and next Saturday the 22nd May we have a Plant and Book sale in the School playground at 11 o’clock - If you have any books, published in the last 18 months, that you would like to donate please bring them along before 11 a.m. on the Saturday. It will in some ways be like a ‘Socially Distanced Coffee Morning’ as there will also be Coffee and Cakes available – see poster on website.

As usual please find  this week’s Roots resources for children and families and a Morning Worship service, especially for those that can’t get to church at St Tecla's Church (llandegla.wales).  Also there are the Sunday Blue Readings sheet and the bilingual readings and responsorial sheets .

Martyn sent out a message earlier in the week about the Celebration Service for the Welsh Bible translation 400 years ago. If you have not looked at it yet there is now a direct link to it at the bottom of this page – it is well worth watching as our Diocesan Education Department put a great deal of effort into it along with many of our Church Schools.

Finally our mission Area leader, John Gambles, will once again be taking our 10.00 am service on Sunday at St Tecla’s so I look forward to seeing many of you there.

Best wishes Annie Walsh
