Notes from Martyn Walsh

I hope you all are keeping well and dealing with the new lock down regulations and the new rules on movement.

Despite the gloom that surrounds us I was greatly lifted by the keynote speaker at last Saturdays Diocesan Conference, held on ZOOM, see attached - https://dioceseofstasaph.org.uk/diocesan-conference/    - It was taken by BISHOP RIC, the Bishop for Islington who explained, all too briefly, how he had started over 100 BRAND NEW CHURCHES yes 100 BRAND NEW CofE CHURCHES ! ! !

All at a time when congregations are declining and some churches are closing he has gone against the tide and is continuing to open NEW CHURCHES! So do click on and listen as we all can learn from him. Also please find attached a letter from BISHOP GEGORY, the RESOURCES for this week including a Reflection from Martin Snelgrove.

A BIG THANK YOU The Church Council at St Tecla’ would like to thank everyone for the incredible amount of FOOD CONTRIBUTIONS and money made last Sunday at the Harvest service in aid of the FOOD BANK in Ruthin it was incredibly generous of you and will greatly help

Keep well keep safe
