A message from Church Warden Annie Walsh

Dear Friends,

Firstly, a big thank you to all those who helped put on our ‘Catch-Up Coffee Morning’ last Saturday and an equally big thank you to all those who attended, it helped raise over £130 towards much needed church funds.

A thank you also for all those who came last Sunday for the service taken by Rev Dorothi.

This coming Sunday we welcome once again the Rev Michael Williams for our 10.00 am Eucharist service. If the weather is fine we will continue with the practice of singing the last hymn  outside, socially distanced of course.

Please find Roots resources for children and families and a Morning Worship service for the Ninth Sunday after Trinity at St Tecla's Church (llandegla.wales. The latter can also be particularly useful for reaching out and keeping contact with those who are unable, or are too nervous to return to church at this time; the intercessions and the bible notes within are of course for wider use too. Also at St Tecla's Church (llandegla.wales  are the Sunday Blue Readings sheet and the bilingual readings and responsorial sheets form the Diocese. Please note that the latter is the set of alternative readings for this Sunday which are dedicated to St James.

Slowly the restrictions are coming off and hopefully it wont be too long before we are all able to gather inside the church and sing together.

I look forward to seeing those of you who can make it this coming Sunday morning.

 Kind regards

 Annie Walsh
