A message from Church Warden Annie Walsh
Dear Friends,
Normal
Sunday Service resumes at St Tecla’s. This Sunday morning we welcome once again to
our 10am service our dear friend the Reverend Mike Williams.
Last Sunday afternoon, at a wonderful service in the Church of SS Mael & Sulien Corwen, many of us from all corners of the Valle Crucis Mission Area attended the Licensing of Reverend Helen Gheorghiu-Gould. It was extra special in that was also attended by Bishop Gregory and our own Archdeacon Barry Wilson, people we have not seen for two years due to the Covid crisis.
On Sunday
26th of September everyone from St Tecla’s will get a chance to meet
and welcome Reverend Helen the new leader of our Clergy in the Vallee Crucis
Mission Area. She will be attending with John Gambles a joint service we will
be holding with St Tysilo’s in Bryneglwys which starts at 11.00. So do put it
in your diaries.
In the meantime please find Roots resources for children and families and a Morning Worship service for the Sixteenth Sunday after Trinity at St Tecla's Church (llandegla.wales). The Morning Worship can also be particularly useful for reaching out and keeping contact with those who cannot get to church at this time; the intercessions and the bible notes within are of course for wider use too. Also there are the Sunday Blue Readings sheet on which this Morning Worship is based, together with the bilingual readings and responsorial sheets from the Diocese which this week have the alternative readings for Sunday.
I look
forward to seeing those of you who can make it to St Tecla’s this Sunday at
10.00 am and do please put Sunday 26th September in your diaries for
meeting Reverend Helen, she is very nice.
Best wishes Annie Walsh
St Tecla's Church Warden
