Message from St Tecla's Church Warden Annie Walsh

I hope you are all well. The good news is that at this very difficult time for all of us in the country we can at least  come together in our churches (2 metres apart) to celebrate the meaning of Christmas.

St Tecla’s will be holding a service at 10.00 am this Sunday (tomorrow)  and on Christmas Eve at 5.00pm we will be holding a very uplifting Family Service for All. It will be taken by Mike Williams who will taking us through the Christmas Story accompanied by Carol Music by John Rodgers.

You will also find as usual our weekly Sunday Readings, Worship at Home and Roots resources and a Reflection from Canon Martin Snellgrove at  St Tecla's Church (llandegla.wales)

Finally, if you are feeling a little down at any point over Christmas can I suggest that you log onto www.dioceseofstasaph.org.uk then scroll down and you will come to a very uplifting  musical Video made by all the Children in our  Llandegla Village School, Ysgol Dyffryn Ial – there is nothing like children singing carols to lift one’s spirits and all 54 children helped in telling The Christmas Story.

I hope very much that I will see some of you at our service tomorrow and especially at our special Christmas Eve service but if we don’t meet before Christmas can I wish you, on behalf of myself and my husband Martyn, a very happy and healthy Christmas and coming New Year.

Best wishes Annie Walsh

St Tecla’s Church Warden.
